Ringmaster
Like the last sketch, done while traveling and thus not up to my preferred standards, but I've been promising Maggie for a while to post the back-logged sketches.

Ferrus's Stuff
This was sketched on an airplane (note the loose pencil work encouraged by both turbulence and the small child seated next to me).

The Abbess, Take 2

[Re-Post]
Version 2 of The Abbess. I've added a scarf, gloved the left hand, left the extended right hand bare to illustrate it wrinkled and crone-like, and also played around with her clothing more in this one, experimenting with a trendier style that simultaneously hinted at religious uniform (primarily the undershirt resembling the collar on a nun's habit).

The Abbess, Take One
This is the first, quick-and-dirty sketch version of Maggie's comic hero, The Abbess. Her power is healing, enhanced by relics embedded in her gnarled hands.

Ferrus, Take Two

[Re-Post]
This 10-minute sketch is far better than the earlier one. I think I must have been trying too hard before or something. He's still not quite right as an imitation of the person Terrence is based upon, but it works and it maketh me happy.
This is Terrence Michaels (codename"Ferrus"), a member of the same group of heroes as The Abbess and married to the group's clairvoyant member. Here's a selection from his Maggieverse description:
"...A powerful telekinetic, he prefers swords: Asian-style katanas which he wields with deadly accuracy. Usually armed to the teeth in other respects: throwing stars, daggers, handguns, explosives. An expert in several martial arts: jiu-jitsu, Qigong, judo, etc.
...Very in love with his wife, Lucy, whose health he worries about so much he nearly gives himself ulcers. "
