Oh the Brilliance--the Evil Brilliance!

Yes, that is Nathan Fillion.
And yes, this comes from the evil genius of Joss Wheedon.

Games at Greg's 2

Later on the same night: Sahlain is not amused.

Games at Greg's

Another night of fun & games at Greg & Kailoni's house into the wee hours of the morning. Above: Tiamott (Dave) watches worriedly as the little thief (Kelyn) does something dangerous.

Reception Sketch In Crayon

This is a sketch I did in crayon a while ago, when I was trying to explain an idea I had involving paper garden lanterns and reception decor. The thing I like most, though, is the floral centerpiece in the square glass vase. I wish I could afford some spreading stems like that for table centerpieces.

New Year's Eve Eve Gaming

Joel was in town for Christmas and the night (Dec. 30) before his departure a few of us met at Greg & Kailoni's for some Joel's Choice gaming fun. As the night wore into morning my attention waned and half-awake sketching occurred.
Disclaimer: the above characters look nothing like their respective players.

Evil Incarnate

See? I always told you warm fuzzies were out to get us, but did you listen?

Snow, Take One

Ack: I've once again misplaced my cleaned-up copy of this sketch. Ah well.
This is another character from Maggie's comic. I've nicknamed her "Snow" (she's not as far along in Maggieverse development as The Abbess). The basic idea was inspired by our Dark Forest/Lyonesse days. In other words, Snow is a mildly anti-social, blunt werewolf who kicks about with her red-haired fellow wolf, "Spark:" a well-educated, gracious, master of intrigue.

Changing Face

In the last couple of months I've begun posting some of my sketches online, thanks in part to the project I've begun with Maggie and a need for long-distance collaboration. Initially I posted on a little-used secondary xanga site, but I'm beginning to reach its limits. Admirable though it may be for recording my verbal rants, xanga is clunky when it comes to visual arts.
Therefore, I am now overhauling my old blogspot to serve as electronic sketchbook. Enjoy.
E.
