Me as a Book

Woah...

You're The Things They Carried!

by Tim O'Brien

Harsh and bitter, you tell it like it is. This usually comes in short,
dramatic spurts of spilling your guts in various ways. You carry a heavy load, and this
has weighed you down with all the horrors that humanity has to offer. Having seen and
done a great deal that you aren't proud of, you have no choice but to walk forward,
trudging slowly through ongoing mud. In the next life, you will come back as a water
buffalo.

You know, in a morbid sort of way, that's applicable. What a roommate I have...

Having been unable to satisfy myself with the book quiz, I decided to try the country one. This yielded some... "interesting" results :).

I am: France. Joy. ;)

"Most people think you're snobby, but it's really just that you're better than everyone else. At least you're more loyal to the real language, the fine arts, and the fine wines than anyone else. You aren't worth beans in a fight, unless you're really short, but you're so good at other things that it usually doesn't matter. Some of your finest works were intended to be short-term projects."

Yeah... we're quite the pair :).

*sigh*

The book is somewhat appropriate, I suppose. The bit about "spilling life's sorrow in brief dramatic bursts" was particularly nice. :) The rest was less applicable.

I'm not quite seeing the water buffalo - maybe it will come in time. You know, with your lovely hair you could pull off the Amidala "horns" style... which would help with the whole buffalo style. ;)

France for Gabi works... less so, but it's still funny. I'll have to find the link. :)

Oh, and that book quiz can be quite dangerous. Nathan once got one of the "nasty" titles. Figures.

Kaire.
